Therefore it comes in standard retail packaging undamaged. And that's what you want to do with it when you're trying to push the chalk out far enough to write with it. Find a tool, though: a flat-head screwdriver, a toothpick, a longer-handled seam ripper, tweezers, etc. Gently insert the chalk. Tool between the edge of the chalk holder and the button cap, carefully remove the cap. Push the chalk through the holder, put on the button cap. This chalk holder holds chalk, but I don't recommend it. I had to buy a holder with a knurled end adjustment for writing. Saving Grace is a parenthesis. It's made of some sort of steel, enough to be attracted to the powerful magnet that holds my chalkboard to the fridge.
