Not suitable for normal chalk?

My first teacher had one which got me thinking. I was glad I could find it on Revain. The only real issue is that the chalk that comes with it is larger than regular blackboard chalk. I also couldn't take it off to see if I could fit a regular sized chalk in the holder. I may see it when this one is finished, but it's a crayon of such an odd size that I'm hoping this nifty little device doesn't become useless to me after the first use. It's good value for money, but not when it's disposable.

Looking Good No: Desk & Workspace Organizer

Therefore it comes in standard retail packaging undamaged. And that's what you want to do with it when you're trying to push the chalk out far enough to write with it. Find a tool, though: a flat-head screwdriver, a toothpick, a longer-handled seam ripper, tweezers, etc. Gently insert the chalk. Tool between the edge of the chalk holder and the button cap, carefully remove the cap. Push the chalk through the holder, put on the button cap. This chalk holder holds chalk, but I don't recommend it.

Low price, high quality!

Small price, high quality. This is a great chalk stand without the thrills. My wife is a teacher and I bought this for her just for fun! But she loves it and uses it every day! She says she's noticed a dramatic improvement as her hands aren't as dry anymore. As others have pointed out, not all crayons are created equal! So far she's been lucky that the pieces fit in easily, but the other day she brought it home because a piece got stuck in it. Luckily I was able to get the stuck piece out and…

Great code cylinders for Star Wars costumes, chalk holders

A slightly odd title, but true; These little fellows make great replacements for the First Order Code Cylinders. They require minimal modification for acceptable use (simply shave or paint the white top silver and remove the chalk), although you can go the other route for 501 approval. However, at less than $3 a piece, it was a miracle for Lieutenant Mitaka, who apparently needed 4 things right on the front of his uniform (that's why you're stuck with Kylo Ren's duties, right?). Similar chalk…

NEGATIVE INFINITY STARS - DO NOT BUY

This "chalk holder" is the worst thing I've ever bought from Revain and that says *a lot*. This is garbage, plain and simple. It comes with a piece of chalk, but I couldn't get the chalk out of the box. I had to press very hard on the end and then pull the chalk out with my fingernails, which required tremendous force. Obviously it's not a starter. But then the first time I tried to write with it, the chalk flew back into the holder and I actually scratched the board with the metal on the edge…
