I have no idea if this camera will work because I can't get ANYTHING to work from the Wi-Fi connection to the app itself.1. Details: There are round black styrofoam pieces in the box and white pieces in a small bag with no description what they are. I think the foam pieces go in the holes behind the antennas. The Revain photos show that the white pieces are for sealing, but how they fit together and where they connect is unclear. I considered opening up the ethernet cable but they don't fit properly.2. Connection: NO. I downloaded the icsee app and tried to add my device after creating a username/password. The only option that allowed clicking was a QR code. Big. The only problem is that there are QR codes in the mini-booklet and at least three on the box. I tried every QR but it didn't work. The app then asked me to enter a serial number. Again, nothing on the box specifically states the serial number, so I had to try all the different sequences of numbers that could be the serial number. This of course led to the very time consuming task of checking every possible QR with every possible serial number. Every time I tried I got an error saying I had to make sure the serial number matched the device.3. Email to Besdersec: quick reply with link to manual and note to turn off 5G during setup. That's exactly what I did. The new manual they sent in matches what I see in the app. I close and reopen the app to clear everything after turning off 5G and restarting the camera. The application says that the password and login do not match. WHAT? I request the code, get it and reset it. The app gives me the SAME error message. WT again! I just created a new password to make sure I'm entering the correct one. I can't log in because of an error message. I'm giving up and creating a new account with my husband's email address. Who knows if I'll ever be able to log back into the app once I close it.4. Icsee app: Instructions from Besdersec: Now that I'm finally back in the app under the profile I just created, I follow the instructions in the instructions and click on the "Add WiFi camera" option (NOT "Add via QR") ). Guess what? It does not matter. When you click it, the button is highlighted, but nothing opens. And I'm stuck again. Saying I'm upset is saying NOTHING. Nothing should be that difficult. I've sent another email to BESDERSEC to let them know that clicking to add wifi doesn't open anything. Let's see what they say now.
