Cute water shoe, good stretch and does the job of keeping little feet from touching the hot asphalt or sand. But does not stay on once in the water. Pool fared better than ocean, but any water turbulence or jumping in and out of the pool, the shoes fall off. The band just does not get tight enough around the ankle to stay on with any type of pressure. Sand also got in easily at the ankle. So these were good to walk to/from and in the beach or hot sidewalk, but had to take off when entering the water if we didn’t want to loose in the ocean or running in the sand.
