I am happy with these washcloths but I have to admit the packaging is stupid. The best way I've found to remove them from the tape is, rather than ripping the fabric from the packaging, run your finger between the fabric and the tape and you should end up with fewer threads. Generally soft, larger than most baby washcloths and also thicker (but not very thick. It's just that most baby washcloths I've seen are very thin). I'll probably buy more of these to replace the rest of his washcloths. One more note - the design in the corner is only on one of the flannels (e.g. on the blue set the monkey is only on the white one, the others are plain). There is nothing more to say about a washcloth!
