This is a fun bag for Halloween (and beyond). I ordered it to use with a belt as a Halloween (pirate) costume accessory. It's pretty cute so I thought some of the younger family members might want to get it after the holidays. I'll admit I wasn't expecting much, especially for the price, but I was pleasantly surprised - it's well engineered, versatile enough and looks pretty solid considering it's made of polyurethane. I ordered the black version with the skull and crossbones (of course! Aaaah!) + rivets and spikes made from what looks like antique brass and they're quite detailed. There are two compartments; The smaller one on the front of the bag is an expandable flap pocket with a well-functioning latch. The valve is decorated with a skull and crossbones + lots of rivets. Spikes go through eyelets on each side of the bag. All metal parts are firmly attached to the bag. The large second compartment opens with a strong double-headed metal zipper. It works smoothly. The slim, detachable strap has a metal slider for length adjustment and can be attached to the loops at the back of the bag with metal twist-lock clasps (all these metal parts are also antique brass). The bag is small but can be carried in different ways. Just as an example : my keys, my small wallet and phone and maybe lipstick or whatever fits in this bag but no more The faux leather is smooth and feels supple Reasonable price.
