I was a bit apprehensive about purchasing this bag as many recent reviewers have commented that it is unusually large. I cannot express how excited I was when I received this bag and found it to be the perfect size. When I wear it across my body with a strap, the bag itself sits closer to the top of my thigh and comes down to about mid-thigh, which is the perfect size and position for a purse or bag. I haven't adjusted the straps but I'm sure I can make them shorter or longer as needed. It's beautifully made; The canvas fabric and leather straps are thick and durable, and the overall appearance is of high quality. I have ordered an updated design that allows you to access the interior of the bag through a zipper on the back, which fixes the deep dig issue mentioned in many old reviews. The interior is spacious but not overly so; I don't feel like my whole life is lost in the bag's black hole. There are also several handy compartments on each side of the interior, one of which has a zip closure, ideal for stashing items you need close access to such as your wallet. B. your phone, wallet or keys. Additionally, the drop flap has a zip along the crease which is a great extra security measure. I cannot express how happy I am with this purchase; everything about this bag, from its size, functionality and asymmetrical hip design, is amazing. I bought this bag for my upcoming 2 week holiday in Europe and wanted something practical and durable, yet stylish enough not to look like a tourist carrying his life about, and this bag fits the bill perfectly.
