Review on 🐱 Ultra Pet UltraCat Litter+ by Trini Tremblay

Update: I used to love this litter. It was great at absorbing odors and wasn't a drain on the wallet as it could fill two bowls for just $10 a bag. Now they've suddenly gone up to $17 for just 5 pounds of filler!? What the hell isn't even worth it. It also appears to be a slightly different formula as my recent bags don't mask the odor as well as my first few bags. Super disappointed. At this new price point, just check out some of the crystal fillers from more established brands like Fresh Step. . When I bought my first bag last month I was SO impressed. In a nutshell. I'm convinced that I have the stinkiest cat in the world. I have had and met many cats in my life but this cat literally has the most disgusting smelly poop and urine. When we started using clumping clay bedding in earnest, not a day went by that my whole house didn't smell. Well then I was recommended to try it and last month I filled his tray with it. I joke it didn't work right away. My cat walked in and did one of his infamous death poops and we still didn't feel anything! Finally there was no more smell in our house! No urine or poop smell and I didn't even have to pick up the urine as it just evaporated. The poop I just scooped up is only a few days old. Then I reordered a new bag for this month and the color of the filling in this bag is different than the last one. I made sure it was the exact same formula in a pink pouch but my first litter in the first month was whiter and now this new pouch was bluer. Well I JUST put it in yesterday and my cat felt better straight away but this time it stunk throughout my house and even after I scooped up the poo the litter STILL stinks. I don't know why this bag is suddenly different than the one I had last month. I'm so excited because at first it seemed like a miracle and I finally didn't choke on my cat stink! I think it was too good to be true. Will still try to buy another bag next month hoping it's just an accident with poor quality control.
