It was one of the most comfortable beds I have ever experienced. Revain wasn't as big as it is now, and American stores don't sell regular comforters, so I decided to wait. Well I've been waiting. I finally went through the reviews and chose this list, one of the best on Revain for goose down bedding/duvets. Order placed, looking forward to the arrival of my new blanket. When it arrived, my partner and I gave it a good shake and then put it on the bed to blow the fluff for a few hours. He's flat. Also, it's very noisy. Sounds just like those flashy baby snowsuits that were neon in the '90s. I thought it would be a bit noisy but this thing is really noisy. Even the slightest movement causes a whistling plastic noise. On closer inspection, the seams show sewing errors (see attached photo). I figured I'd just shake it again and hope it loosens up. Bad luck. It's flat because the squares aren't filled in properly. Once underneath, when you hold it, light comes through. There is almost enough light for reading. I am extremely disappointed. I wasn't expecting to shell out $134.95 for a loud flat quilt that looks nothing like the comforter I met in the UK, or like the product photos suggest. I could go to Walmart, spend $40 and get a better blanket. In the photos you can see a luscious marshmallow hanging over the bed and the squares of fluff are clearly supporting each other. Not so with the item I received. I'm not worried about figuring out a warranty or returning a product. I guess I'll just attribute it to a loss and bad buy on my part. This is how I felt when I got mine and here I replaced my deluxe duvet that I've had forever and I was expecting this 'duvet' and also skipped the reviews until I got it and I can't believe it which isn't what i thought and my old one is much better and i'm disappointed i paid $135 for it and ignored the bad reviews and i think its a lesson learned and i don't want to be in the hassle either deal with it and I'm glad you got results
