I replaced my outdated $$$ Paradigm speaker system and Yamaha receiver with a Sonos Beam and two Sonos Play:1. I couldn't be happier! I use it with LG oled55b7p (shown in my photo). Audio: Sounds great! The late night setting (voice booster and silence loud noises) is very useful. Apple's own Airplay streaming without the Sonos app (which also lets you stream to Play:1s) is also a great bonus. Alexa: For those of you wondering if you don't want integration with Alexa, just skip this part in the setup and the mic will never connect. Reuse your old non-Sonos subwoofer tip! I understand the Sonos ecosystem just works and they want you to buy their subwoofer and that's why they don't have a subwoofer output for their wireless subwoofer). However, if like me you already have a subwoofer, it's a shame to waste it. I found a great solution. Since the Beam uses HDMI for audio, chances are your TV has an open optical output. Connect 5.1 audio decoder converter to 5.1 channel analog audio (6 RCA output) via optical output port. I used this one: https://www.amazon.com/dp/B01MS0973G All you have to do is plug an RCA cable into the subwoofer jack on the box and you've got bass for less than $50!
