Best price for this product, will buy more!

It's not a drawback for me, but it's worth noting: - Trueplay (a feature that adapts the sound to the environment) is configured only on iPhones Different pros: - Surround sound works. At one point I thought that the dogs were barking on the street, and not in the series :) - The build is amazing. Nothing groans at maximum volume, everything is monolithic - The sound itself is indecently good for such dimensions. Listened to zimmer with friends for evaluation, everyone got high - Connect with…

The best soundbar for the money!

This is my second soundbar that I own and my first Sonos product. I have to say I'm very impressed. For such a small soundbar, this thing makes great sound. The Beam's sound when playing movies and music is perfect. I have a medium sized living room and the Beam fills the room with sound quite well. I plan on getting a Sonos SUB at some point, but after using the Beam all day I'm sure I can last through Black Friday with the SUB. The addition of Alexa is arguably the biggest benefit of this…

Excellent speaker! + Reuse your old subwoofer tip!

I replaced my outdated $$$ Paradigm speaker system and Yamaha receiver with a Sonos Beam and two Sonos Play:1. I couldn't be happier! I use it with LG oled55b7p (shown in my photo). Audio: Sounds great! The late night setting (voice booster and silence loud noises) is very useful. Apple's own Airplay streaming without the Sonos app (which also lets you stream to Play:1s) is also a great bonus. Alexa: For those of you wondering if you don't want integration with Alexa, just skip this part in the

Pros
  • Beam is a smart, compact soundbar for TV, music and more.
Cons
  • Infinitely slow

If you're considering purchasing these great speakers, here's what you need to know: For Sonos Customer Service: With all due respect, the sound quality from your speakers is excellent! However, this is where the quality of your speakers ends. Networking Sonos speakers is a nightmare and your speakers DO NOT WORK. Too many bugs and your UI is terrible. I'm an IT professional and I have NEVER seen any setup software give you a message to try again later after a setup operation failed. Ever heard

New SONOS Fanboy for Home Audio

This is my first SONOS purchase and I'm glad I made the choice. Here's some background: I have a fairly large living room in my new house and it's already hardwired for surround sound, so I was tempted to buy a receiver and a 5.1 cable setup (which sure sounds great), but I've read on about wireless surround sound, and in every review I've read or video I've seen, SONOS has stood out as one of the best with wireless audio. I went with SONOS and stepped through a 5.1 setup using SONOS (it's an…

Sonos experience made easy

I have an LG OLED and a Beam and I have Dolby Digital audio processing lag versus ARC and optical out which is mentioned every day on the Sonos community forums. Seriously, this is the best home theater review on Sonos bellows. Beam suffers from a 0.4 second audio delay compared to video when playing Dolby Digital audio. It's very noticeable. The beam just doesn't work with LG OLED displays and/or some Sony TVs. This is a HUGE disclaimer and we hope people read it before purchasing. In my…

Great in 5.1, 5.0, or 3.1 configurations

I had a Sony receiver with compact Polk RM6750 speakers and a subwoofer that sounded great, but I've been looking for a soundbar for years for the simplicity and visual appeal. I bought the Sony HT-ST5000 shortly after it was released and returned it a few days later. Dialogue was particularly awful, and the lack of surround channels made it sound really flat. I was initially disappointed that Sonos released a small soundbar instead of a "Playbar 2", but after many third-party suppliers I…

A highly competent soundbar with AirPlay2 integration

This is a Sonos Beam review. Before I got Beam, I had a Samsung HW-FM45C 2.1 soundbar. It had great sound and bass because it had wireless and a separate subwoofer module. The subwoofer is what really made this soundbar stand out for me and what I hated most about it because it was just another device that had to fit somewhere in my room. The strength of the Samsung Soundbar was not only that it had an optical input, but also a Bluetooth connection, which I used all the time. But we moved, and…
