I received these today and am very proud of my purchase! The seats on these chairs were starting to look torn and I just wanted to throw them away. That's why I'm proud of myself for trying these cases and not causing any waste. I don't know how they will hold up, but I think I've added at least another year to the life of these chairs. I measured and I think the shoe and seat sizes were very close. I don't remember the actual dimensions of the seat covers but my ottoman seats are approximately 19 x 13 x 1.5 and these covers fit perfectly! I'd say I searched for "rectangular seat covers" and these square ones popped up, so I was a little worried they wouldn't fit. I unscrewed the seat from the base to tuck in the edges, I cut off the small ties at the bottom as they seemed unnecessary.
