the granulation is very fine, so despite the pumice stone it is not too hard and does not dry out the skin. it costs less than $15 and isn't as gross as an apricot scrub, so I think it's better than your regular body scrub even though it costs more than any other budget brand. It's also non-greasy and doesn't leave a residue like some body scrubs I prefer, but if you need it, this might not be for you. It is a harsh scrub that helps remove dead skin and remove dirt from pores and follicles. I recommend trying it out if you're tired of greasy, overly harsh body scrubs that are more of a nuisance than not.
