I'm giving this 4 stars (which is still good) only because this has a bit more sheen than most any other cotton athletic shorts I've owned. By sheen, it is just a tad bit more shinier than I'd expect.Nonetheless, I like the collection of colors here, this is soft and comfortable to wear.Pockets are nice and deep and the "waistband-strings" are on the inside, which is important to me for athletic shorts.I probably would not buy this exact shorts again, but pure cotton-look shorts that did not have as much sheen, I would.
