Review on πŸ“» PAC C2R-GM29: Enhanced Radio Replacement Interface for 2006-2008 GM Vehicles by Sean Florence

Revainrating 2 out of 5

PAC C2R-GM29 good for radio accessories

This item works exactly as it should. All calls are at perfect volume except for the blinker which could have been a bit louder. I noticed that sometimes several noises disappear when the turn signal is on; That means I see the turn signal arrow flashing but no horn sound for about 2 or 3 flashes. There were times when I sat at a stop sign with the turn signals on for about 20 seconds and the horn wouldn't sound. Also, this interface has what they call RAP (Retained Accessory Power). Stay on for 10 minutes after removing the key or opening the driver's door. Occasionally when the key is removed and the door is open the radio stays on. Sometimes for a few seconds, sometimes until I reach out and turn it off. It seems like the time it stays on and I need to get to it and turn it off is the time I'm in a hurry, so I don't have time to sit there and closely watch how long it's playing becomes. I feel ripped off. ************************************************* * ************************************************** *** ***** * ************************* Burnt out after 4 months. I don't know if it was fake or if it was real. But $87 for 4 months usage is a steal.
