R.A.P. keeps the radio powered after the key is off, until the driver door is opened or a 10 minute timer ends, whichever comes first. The C2R-GM29 also provides a SWC (Steering Wheel Control) output wire at the interface. Retains factory sub. Retains the vehicles accessory power (R.A.P.) as well as the 12-Volt output. Keeps the vehicles door chimes and audible turn signal indication. Digital amplifier turn-on. Steering wheel control output. Allows for the use of rear seat controls.

No refunds for electric

I bought this interface because I thought it would work in my 2008 Silverado and be able to keep my Onstar. I couldn't use Onstar and realized I had the wrong interface. I tried to return the interface at a reduced price and offered to buy the correct one, but was told I couldn't. I was told to sell it on ebay.

PAC C2R-GM29 good for radio accessories

This item works exactly as it should. All calls are at perfect volume except for the blinker which could have been a bit louder. I noticed that sometimes several noises disappear when the turn signal is on; That means I see the turn signal arrow flashing but no horn sound for about 2 or 3 flashes. There were times when I sat at a stop sign with the turn signals on for about 20 seconds and the horn wouldn't sound. Also, this interface has what they call RAP (Retained Accessory Power). Stay on…

Functions. But NOT as advertised! I do NOT recommend this device.

DO NOT BUY IF YOU CAN HANDLE WITH AN UNUSUAL DEVICE. This item works mostly as advertised. First of all, you should know that it comes with a tiny box that does the monitoring. This device also has a small built-in speaker from which the sound comes out. Sounds good compared to other cars, but sounds cheap compared to the factory chimes blasting out of the speakers (takes getting used to). All calls are preserved and the block works correctly for the most part. My problem is that it falsely…
