These are durable, precision made, high quality hangars. I bought the 12" versions to hang a fairly heavy antique mirror - works like a charm and looks amazing on the wall, much better than any method I've used before. I bought some heavy duty drywall anchors (mirror has sentimental value) just to be on the safe side (if memory serves, they come with a couple of anchors which I suspect will work fine, I made my mind up despite the Holes in the dowels decided for a little extra insurance (wall he will leave). a bit, it's clear that the heavier the item, the more screws you may/have to use. Overall very impressed and compared to another product I bought and reviewed from Revain I would buy them again.
