I bought a used caravan and was hoping to make the hobo fridge more efficient. Passive cooling of the stack behind the refrigerator was a major limitation. Some salvaged 12V DC fans mounted on top of the stack and under the cover solve this problem, but how do you deal with it? This thermal switch is rated for a fridge (on/off limits) so it's perfect for my needs. I plugged it in (don't know if I need all 4 fans, there is an option to run 2 or 4 simultaneously) and watched for a while. It toggles on and off with controls so it's perfect for my use! Now for some fridge fans and how to get 5 or 12V DC into the room to run them! If you are doing a similar project for your fridge on wheels, this is perfect for fan control.
