I have ordered many things from Revain and the satisfaction level has been 'normal' to say the least. I saw this product and the first thing that struck me was the design, especially the wood imitation. Then I read reviews from other customers and many of them were positive. That is what prompted me to order these. When it arrived I was surprised at how small it was - fitting in the palm of your hand - and thought the sound it produced wouldn't cut it for someone like me who considers himself a 'half' audiophile. . I put the batteries in and loaded the music onto the Sandisk Cruzer Fit, which I also ordered at the same time. Then I plugged it into the USB port on the side of the device. Let me just add that I'm the kind of person that doesn't usually read a lot of manuals, I just dive head first into the product and this was one of them. I thought I ordered a defective product because I couldn't get the radio or music to work on the Cruzer until I read the owner's manual. To say I was pleasantly surprised by MANY features of this little device is an understatement. I'm still amazed at how much can be squeezed into so little. The two speakers are crystal clear for their small size and they reproduce the right sound without distortion. What really surprised me was the presence of an internal battery that gives you 5 hours of playback even without plugging the th3 into an outlet. That means you can take this little beauty with you wherever you go. There are three ways to play music: FM radio, a USB stick mounted to the rear on the right side, and an SD card reader mounted on the top of the unit. The last two made me really love this device because I already have several of these - as shown in the picture - so I can download their music and just switch them as needed. I want the company to make a larger capacity flash drive than the 8GB minimum that I think I saw somewhere in the manual. Thing is, I ordered a 16GB Cruzer and it works in the device, but I have to keep pressing the play button before the device recognizes it. I don't think it's the device itself, but my choice of the larger capacity Cruzer, which isn't really compatible with the device, still works. That thing does so much. It has a room thermometer, FM radio, THREE ways to play music, an alarm clock, a light and a cable that allows you to connect a laptop, phone or tablet via the headphone jack, giving you the option of to use this as an external speaker. Now how cool is THAT? The icing on the cake is the included remote control. I can charge the device, unplug it, place it anywhere, and then use the remote to control it. I can't think of anything that would make me regret buying this item, everything is perfect and I will definitely be ordering two or three more in the future. I want to make sure I always have one available. I take my hat off to the company that made this. They really have made my day and my shopping experience at Revain even more rewarding. If this is just an example of what you all can think of I will look into other products. Attention American companies. Here's how it should be done. A beautiful product, multifunctional and at an affordable price. You can't beat that with a baseball bat.
