Make sure of dimensions of fixture
Our company replaced 1000w 480v metal halide lamps and ballast in 40’ poles. The replacement wasn’t as easy as hoped but more because of the old shoebox style fixtures. Can’t tell them apart from the existing 1000w HID lamps still in. Not sure if longevity which is reason for 4-star review, but as of now would buy again.
- These are perfect for parking lot retrofits.
- The retrofit kit might not fit all types of shoeboxes, limiting its versatility
