The pattern is reversed, like that the back is neutral color
As another reviewer mentioned, the pattern is upside down, meaning the unicorns are facing the top of the bed and the zipper is at the front of the bed rather than the feet. However, there is enough fabric around the zipper that my daughter doesn't mind at all. It is also great that there is a neutral pattern on the back.
