Review on Kingston KC600 512GB SATA SKC600/512G SSD by Jnis Ginters ᠌

Revainrating 5 out of 5

I am one hundred percent satisfied with the purchase, I recommend this product to everyone.

If you look for information about sata ssd 860 evo from samsa, then there is even less fast cache, 25 versus ~ 40 for kingston. *If we discard the established marketing tricks and calculate the real volume, then 476 GB is available. In any case, of all the sata SSD drives (in the middle price category) that I had this most stable in speed, it’s not a pity to even write a review to help with the choice.

Pros
  • This disk, unlike many, has a stable speed of + - 510 MB / s for writing and reading. "Real" testing was carried out by moving a large array of data (folder with AC Odyssey 112GB, it took ~ 5 minutes) and whole files (42GB movie) from SSD M2 NVME EVO 970 back and forth. After overcoming the volume of recorded information in ~ 40GB (approximately the same buffer size), the drive reduces the "read speed" from + -505 MB / s to a decent 300 and continues copying steadily at this speed, the "write speed" decreases from 470 to 390-400 MB \With.
Cons
  • At the moment, it's hard to find any disadvantages other than the price, but this disc is close in quality and price to the well-known disc from Korea, so the cost is probably justified.
