We bought them for the chair as we have a Newfoundland dog. If you know anything about this breed, you know that their mouths can get a little dirty, and you know that they love being around their humans. This resulted in the armrests of our chairs being covered in drool stains. These covers won't stop drooling, but I can take them off, throw them in the wash, and put them back on the chair and the armrest of the chair itself stays clean. They are the perfect solution for those who have a large, wet-mouthed dog and a much-used chair or lounger. Bonus: Made for big, tall men, my husband's chair is, for lack of a better word, super big and super plush. I didn't think these cases would suit him, but they do!
