Grip rubber becomes sticky

Light grip, not suitable for leather cases, shakes when pulled Unfortunately, the rubber on the grip becomes sticky after 10 minutes. When visiting the exhibition I wrapped it in cling film. I would like to ask someone to wrap it in leather but I don't have time. I didn't expect TUMI to have this type of material.
