I wear an 8US in sketchers and usually 7.5US in all sandals and slippers. i bought a size 7 black and they fit perfect. the boots dont come shiny though but you can buy black shoe polish for a couple bucks at walmart. i also advise slipping these boot on very gently because the elastic may loosen or the strip may fall off from the glue. mine have not broke yet but still reallly cute boots! i will say they dont keep your feet warm, but wearing fuzzy thick socks will help because the ankle is wide so it fits well if you wear thick socks and it keeps your toes warm,. if you have to stand for long period of time in the day your feet will hurt though, but otherwiase really nice. looks classy and cute with tucked in pants or flared jeans
