I live in a very small apartment in a very humid climate. I only use this machine at night for 6-7 hours in my bedroom while I sleep. The machine works really well and makes my bedroom more comfortable. My typical electric bill is between $70 and $90 per month. After using this machine for just a month, my electric bill went up to $350/month for just 6-7 hours of use per day. Keep in mind that this device is not energy efficient and will cost you a lot. I had to get rid of it and buy another, more energy efficient device.
