Great product and great customer support!

I purchased this product for use with a Harris XG-15 radio with external ballistic mount. brought it to a halt. I contacted Sheepdog who responded immediately and sent a replacement. The exchange works great. I can't say enough to thank them for their prompt attention and excellent customer support. This is really important with professional equipment and is unfortunately missing from many providers. To check: The installation on the radio is quite simple. Which is good as no instructions are included. Once the adapter is installed on the radio it works as normal until you connect the microphone/speaker unit. At this point, the RX sound no longer comes from the PDA, but only from the loudspeaker. Installing on my external media was a little less easy and this is where I ran into a problem. Some components of the microphone/headphone assembly are too large to fit through the smaller holes. There is a connector in the speaker assembly that should have made installation much easier. Unfortunately, when removing one of the "prongs" of the connector, it became detached from the wiring, rendering the unit inoperable and prompting the excellent customer service response described above. When I got a replacement, I found an alternate routing that didn't require removing that stub to prevent the problem from accidentally reoccurring. It's not ideal, but should work. And that's really my only suggestion for improvement - adjusting the components/connections for easier installation in most garments. Maybe add instructions or post an installation video. The rest of the product works great and it's hard to argue with great customer service!
