Review on Panasonic KX-TG4733B DECT 6.0 Cordless πŸ“ž Phone Review: Answering System, Black, 3 Handsets by Tracey Brown

Revainrating 5 out of 5

Superb setup of 3 phones for people with wired phone lines

We have accumulated a hodgepodge of different brand phones over the years in our two story Colonial home and basement. We always wanted an intercom over 3 floors. After making the decision to replace the old system we checked out many Revain brands and several local big stores. We wanted a system with 3 phones. Panasonic systems have consistently received the best ratings. So far, after three weeks of use, we have not been disappointed - the system is VERY EASY to install and configure. It is very convenient to set up an address book in a phone that will be transferred to others. However, each phone can have its own ringtones and silence times (very handy to prevent them from ringing while you're sleeping. We still have an old phone with a ringtone that works at a lower level during a power outage, so for a real one). emergency call). Intercom is a handy feature that allows a subscriber in the basement to answer a call and essentially put it on hold while ringing the other floors' paging phones so the other subscriber can answer the call. You can also use the intercom without a phone call just to let someone know dinner is ready or whatever. We use an autoresponder which is also very easy to set up and use; You can program your own message and also receive messages from a remote location. We can't find any problems with the sound: from our side, all callers can be understood well with sufficient volume, and no problems for the callers to hear us (tested with my son in the city, also with relatives on the cell phone in different states, none problems). The main reason you should choose Panasonic over other brands is that you can replace the batteries with any quality AAA batteries available without the need for a dedicated $9.99 battery for each phone. We're not subscribed to Qwest/CenturyLink caller ID or call waiting features, so we can't comment on that (we only keep our landline number for the alarm that needs it, and we have regular family calls when it's easier to have two phones more use as one). speakerphone). I will update this review if there are any issues but first impressions are very positive.
