Review on CEC Industries Bulbs BA15S Shape Light Bulbs by Isaiah Bower
Got what I expected, all 10 were good.
I got what I expected, the bulbs have a shiny brass base as shown in the photo. All 10 bulbs worked and were well centered in their electrical characteristics, they drew about 0.64 amps at 6.3vdc that is about 4.1 watts, their brightness is hardly any different from the original US made 1950's version -er years to distinguish each other. The only possible downsides are: 1) the structure of the filament appears to be more sensitive to mechanical shock and vibration due to the brackets being wider than older designs; 2) The lamp is clearly marked "Made in China", so local production is not supported.
