Great idea, but wingless wire nuts won't work. I don't do big commercial wiring. Thought this would be great for occasional home wiring as I transition to smart switches. The fact is that most consumer light switches have round terminals. Those are the ones that hurt my hands. I have no problems with wings grabbing plugs. I thought this tool would support both types. It was HUGE (hence the term XL) for my projects so I cut it down. Wing style still fits. However, the round has no stop inside. I can try adding splines on the inside to provide the necessary support. Three stars for incomplete description. We have different views on the "universal". I should have looked at the reviews.
