Test and verify as soon as possible.

Once you receive this item, fill with water, put on the lids, grasp the handle and stand upright. If it leaks, send it back immediately. However, I didn't, and when I went camping and took it to the landfill, the 3" cap/gasket leaked very badly. Tried a few replacement caps, even borrowed a cap from someone who had the same bag and would have earned 5 stars.
