I bought this sound machine primarily because I was very used to falling asleep to the "ambient noise" of our Google Home Mini which was basically the sound of rain and for some reason after update it started to glitch. to connect, and being very sensitive to sound (or lack thereof), this meant I had a very hard time falling asleep. I listened to a few videos of this noise machine to see if it had a similar rain noise and decided to order one. I'm so thankful I did this because I LOVE this little car. It comes with a USB charging cable, so you can either charge it up and use it as a wireless sound machine. or plug it into a power adapter (not included) and just run it on regular power. Luckily it actually uses the same connector as our mini, so I just swapped out the cables and didn't need the included USB. The battery claims it can last up to 8 hours or more, but I didn't test that as I hardly ever use it from an outlet, but it's nice to have an option in case of an accidental power outage. It can also be very noisy for such a small device. I've also used it every night for at least two or three months and haven't had any quality loss or any issues with it. To be honest, with so many volume settings, an optional automatic shut-off timer, a variety of sounds, compact size and the ability to connect to a wired or wireless network, this sound machine is a fantastic find.
