Review on Indoraptor Jurassic World Toy FVW27 by Jeremy Lunn

Revainrating 5 out of 5

Indoraptor: huge, well made, highly agile, terrifying and so entertaining

This figure is without a doubt one of the best, if not the best, Jurassic Park/Jurassic World Series action figure to hit the shelves. I was stunned by its size in particular; It's a fairly large figure, about 15 inches in overall length. He's taller than any Jurassic Park character I've ever seen. in my personal possession, except for a giant bull Tyrannosaurus I had from The Lost World: Jurassic Park and a Tyrannosaurus Rex Battle Damage from the same line. It's also very mobile, with 16 points of articulation; its arms, legs, tail, head, neck, arms, jaw, knees and ankles move and it balances extremely well on two or four legs due to its superior design and well placed center of gravity. Really, the only figurines that I think are surpassed for both quality and accuracy are the Mesozoic Beasts dinosaur figures (scientifically accurate dinosaur toys owned by adult collectors like me, which you will NEVER see on Revain). The only thing that bothered me about this character were the eyes; They look a little flat and should have had a little more depth with some darker shadows around the lids. But overall, Mattel has done a phenomenal job of making Indoraptor a toy everyone wants, and they've brought the toy line back after Hasbro ruined it so much for Jurassic World with action figures that look so cheap and inaccurate that no one will take an interest in them, except for small children. As such, I highly recommend the Indoraptor figure to fans of the series. This dino hybrid figure is what we should be seeing in terms of Jurassic Park/Jurassic World toys; A dynamic, well-designed figure to be posed, played with and displayed at will.
