We like the quality of the filters - the cardboard frame is strong and the pleats are backed by a lightweight fine material network supported. The filters came in individual packaging just like in a regular store. It has a MERV 8 rating (3rd or 4th paragraph on the back of the box). Aside from the filter size and material used, the MERV rating is very important and I don't understand why this information isn't visible. As other buyers found out, the packaging was damaged and the two external filters were slightly dented. Fortunately, my husband is confident that this damage will not affect the functionality of the filters and there is no need to return them.
