Review on Ultimate Protection for Your LCI Jack: Trailersphere's Clever Cover - Trailers, RVs, Campers, Chains Holder, Plug Protector - Sun & Waterproof (LCI Jack Cover) by Rick Rownd

Revainrating 4 out of 5

Well designed protection

I used to use a 5 gallon bucket. It worked, but it's a lot more attractive. I like the fact that it has a 7 pen pocket to keep it dry. Finally, I tried tying the rope in a knot so it wouldn't be difficult to reach. I also really like the fact that there are chain hooks. This helps keep it in place and doesn't deflate. I want the strap holding the chains to go through the top as I will see the weight of the chains eventually pull the top down, but time will tell. So far it's holding up well, but we'll see how well it performs after 6 months of summer sun. I had no problem with my jack being outside in inclement weather but they are not IP rated and the camera failed in 2 years so I saw jack fail. I've seen Jack's hand crank fail in 5 years, so mechanical cranks can have similar problems and the plating makes sense. Does it have a zipper for easy on and off and where does the lock appear to be? Everything seems well thought out. Durability shows real long-term value. I'll update later for real durability by adding or removing stars accordingly. Edited 2/8/21: still holding up well.
