The case is actually very nice, roomy and durable. I put one star because I feel it doesn't match the crayons it's primarily advertised for. You can't see the end of the pins, so you can't see the color names or numbers unless you remove the pin, which can be very tedious at times. I prefer to see both ends of my pencil. I ended up using it for brushes and watercolor markers, tombows fit very well despite being a larger medium than crayon, it makes the case quite unwieldy to close, the zips need to be bigger and longer and it holds so much that it's quite heavy , when it is full. Outer pocket unusable It doesn't fit a newspaper or book, maybe your phone or an iPad mini, otherwise it's great. I'm perfectly comfortable tossing it in the trunk with the rest of my luggage when we go on short weekend trips. So far everything has been preserved!
