Very good value for money - cycling

good quality material and fit not too wide. (Ordered Medium. I'm 5ft 8in and 155lbs). Overall I give it 5 stars for its value and features including lots of pockets. As a cyclist I wasn't really looking for a hood or even detachable sleeves. My main question is why are the sleeves detachable but not the hood?
