This is a PARTICLE filter for the TR 600 series, not for fumes and odors. A pleated paper filter with no added molecular filtration that when working properly removes all viral particles from the air. It doesn't add the granular carbon of other filter media to make your 600 unit as light as possible, but still not as light as the TR300 model. Typically the TR 600 was designed with a larger motor to power an organic vapor filter such as the 6530N. However, the 600 is used in production as a particle filter, for example to filter out pharmaceutical dust. This particulate filter for ready-to-vape systems reduces costs. Bottom line, this isn't the best 600 filter and odors will get through the filter. The best filter is almost twice as expensive. If you don't want to smell odors, you need a bio-filter. The TR 300 series has been designed to be lighter and specifically to manage particulate filter systems. I use the TR 300 for dust filtration because it's easier to carry. That's when I find the 600 biofilter, that's the system I always use.
