The only reason for three starts is the backlight. I wasn't aware of that when I bought the keyboard, but not all characters on the keyboard light up. On all keys except the number key, only the primary characters are lit, and those accessible via the Shift or Fn key are not lit. I'm talking about #$%^&*( etc. For me, backlighting isn't about pretty effects, it's about being able to use the keyboard in low light and actually being able to see the keys. I mostly touch type, but the keys I rarely use, needs to be seen. Key markers are gray on black, hard to see even in good light. Can't see them in low light and backlight on. Keyboard would be perfect if backlight was on. Other mechanical keyboards have that. Update : Downgrade to a start after using the keyboard for a while To recover from this you need to restart Update 2: I ran a simulation that increases CPU usage for a long time, the key is stuck or blocked Completely.
