Not exactly the product I wanted, the price and quality do not match.

IMHO, the keyboard for 17k should be devoid of such shortcomings. If it cost 2k, there would be no complaints. Of course, I understand, "revolutionary" switches, all that, but the quality of workmanship should correspond to the price tag. I also want to note that not all characters on the keyboard are highlighted, but this is not so scary, just a small remark. In terms of tactile sensations, the original laser engraving of symbols differs from those that are applied here in 2022, but this is by

Pros
  • Design. Personally, I was pleased with the backlight, it is literally everywhere, it looks especially cool with a stand under the arm (without it, due to the gold-plated contacts for connecting it, the keyboard does not look so impressive, and in general less aesthetically pleasing) The response of the keys is literally instant, so if you have thumbs and you can touch neighboring keys with them, be prepared for the fact that in shooters you can accidentally press reload or perform other unnecessary random actions Classic key layout and size
Cons
  • The sound of the keys is really very loud. Will interfere with people sleeping in the room, if any. It is impossible to fix this with rubber inserts, as on other keyboards, because. here OPTO-mechanics and rubber inserts will interfere with the signal, as Razer explained to me The hand rest, sheathed in leatherette, went pimples The media wheel, which scrolls in the upper right corner of the keyboard, just like the mouse wheel is also from Razer (replaced under warranty, apparently I had a marriage)

Great quality, did not expect at all for the price.

My favorite Razer, they have such a feature, unfortunately and to great joy that I buy every 9 years, because the product is not killed - high-quality - and does not become obsolete, so I bought a keyboard, headphones and a mouse in 2022, and only in this year had to change, and I am delighted with the current Pros below: Quality! Not a single company and not a single manufacturer, in my opinion, makes the product better, more convenient and more reliable. We are not rich enough to buy cheap…

It is of good quality, but I won't buy it again.

In the end, I don't regret buying. I hope that over time cupcakes of the digital row with full illumination of all characters will appear on this keyboard. I don’t write about the noisiness of the keyboard, because I’m sitting alone in the room and for me it’s not essential. If you get tired of listening to the sounds of pressing buttons, I'll climb into the headset. That would be to find another cool headset that completely covers the ears and provides FULL soundproofing from surrounding…

Pros
  • Clear keystrokes. You press until a clearly perceptible click and that's enough. The button worked. You can not squeeze it all the way, as in membranes. Easily attachable palm rest. At the same time, she does not accidentally disconnect herself. It is fixed quite firmly. Ability to manage keystrokes as you please. For example, capslock always bothers me. I do not use it. Here you can turn it off. And not just turn it off - but assign any action to it! Up to the launch of a frequently used program (game) in one keystroke. Very comfortably. It makes no sense to talk about the coloring of buttons depending on the connected profile - they are limitless. Including separately, you can configure the keyboard backlight around the perimeter. You can set the colors and intensity of the glow depending on the sound level on the sound card. Any buttons any color.
Cons
  • The top number row of keys with such a total cost of the device is a bit bewildering. If you want to use the keyboard in conditions of insufficient visibility, get ready to memorize the location of the symbols !"№;%:?*()_+ - because they are not highlighted. Not at all! Not at all! two months of use, the place of contact with my left hand was clearly marked on it. The right one is always on the mouse, otherwise it would also appear from the right one. Outwardly, this is expressed in some deformation of the leatherette and the base of the stand is dented to the touch (shown in the photo). for this reliability - 4 stars.

Overpriced junk on the PC

The only reason for three starts is the backlight. I wasn't aware of that when I bought the keyboard, but not all characters on the keyboard light up. On all keys except the number key, only the primary characters are lit, and those accessible via the Shift or Fn key are not lit. I'm talking about #$%^&*( etc. For me, backlighting isn't about pretty effects, it's about being able to use the keyboard in low light and actually being able to see the keys. I mostly touch type, but the keys I rarely

3.2 / 5First Impression - This thing looks very slick and clean. And he's durable. I plugged it in and was amazed at how good it looks. This comes from a guy who has been using the same wireless keyboard (Logitech KB 315) for more than 10 years. So this is a big UPDATE. This thing works great, I have linear optical switches and let me tell you - it's a CHANGE on the old mechanics, let me tell you. A light button press will register it. I spent a lot more time going back and correcting my typos.

Pros
  • Not cheap but decent
Cons
  • No mold required

Maximizing the Drawbacks of Linear Switches

Review written using a "Crap Dell Keyboard" and this keyboard was dead on. Pressing this keyboard requires so little effort that you simply rest your fingers in anticipation of the next letter. Speaking of hub, this keyboard doesn't give any feedback that you've actually pressed a key, despite such a short travel distance. I now know that linear switches are designed not to give feedback and there are tactile or click options for that. The problem is that with a combination of minimal effort…

Pros
  • Excellent Overall Performance
Cons
  • Requires an AC outlet

DO NOT BUY: Razer Huntsman Elite (Red or Purple Switches) BUY: Huntsman v2 Analog or Huntsman Mini say this keyboard is perfect. Generation 1 linear switches are definitely an issue with this keyboard, as the springs make them soft and loud. The case also has a twisting issue where most Elite models tend to flex, although this is usually minor, in severe cases this can prevent the palm rest from attaching. Aside from those two things, this keyboard is perfect. Linear opto-mechanical switches…

Responds very well to gaming keyboards

I wanted to finish my custom Razer setup. I recently bought a Viper Ultimate Wireless Mouse and wanted to try a keyboard with optical switches. So I bought a Huntsman Elite with linear optical switches. This keyboard is very sensitive and takes some getting used to. I was a bit concerned about the hard front edge of the palm rest, but I can say it's actually quite comfortable and I haven't had any issues with it so far. The pillow is softer and more comfortable than I expected. I hope it…

Expensive but attractive landfill fodder

Heck, where to start? I've posted a number of invoices for this elite fighter's optics, expecting it to outperform the soft old G19 I've been using for the past decade. To be honest I still don't get the hype after adjusting the sensitivity. It's actually a pretty stripped-down, featureless board with flashing lights that you'll have to give up your firstborn (and their privacy rights) to use. It prints well and my WPM has increased by about 10-15%. To be honest, I see all keyboards going down…

Pros
  • Useful not just for its intended purpose
Cons
  • There are downsides
