I checked the compatibility with my 2008 Chevy Silverado 1500 and it said it worked. I even read a review from someone about whether it affected autoplay and they said they had no problem. However, when we opened the new fob, we saw that the battery wiring harness was installed differently, so the new fob couldn't accommodate my old fob electronics. I went back and although the return times have a really big grace period and they give you a UPS tag for the mail, they don't work for ALASKA. We cannot send lithium batteries by post. It should be the next day, day 2, or with warnings of the dangers as we have to fly them. It would have cost me 6x the purchase price. Revain was great and made an exception to get my money back but beware of using the battery. Maybe it has something to do with the Z package on my 1500? No idea. Doesn't get as specific in the compatibility search.
