For the price, this is an amazing laptop. Very powerful and protected from the future for some time. But there are two problems. 1. The power cord is too short. The cable from the outlet to the brick is a good 6 feet long, and the cable from the brick to the laptop is less than 4 meters long. That means you often end up with a trained cable, and if you're not careful you can have a brick hanging off your laptop. My previous laptop was an ASU G73 and its power cord was reversed. The long cable was on the laptop side and the short cable was on the network side as it should be. Whoever designed the power cord has to shoot a cannon at a concrete wall. The second problem is the keyboard. Yes, it's backlit, but only in the center. You cannot see the side function on the button. For example fn keys, you can see the control panel but you can't see what fn number it is. Luckily, most of us have the Fn keys memorized by now, but whoever thought it was a good idea to replace the Fn key's actual function display with a control panel display didn't like it.
