Review on πŸ”οΈ Ultimate Outdoor Adventure Companion: Everest Hiking Pack in Black – Perfect for Backpacking and Casual Day Trips by Ryan Bennett

Revainrating 4 out of 5

I really like the package itself, the large main compartment is suitable for my sleep.

Love backpack itself, large main compartment, fits in my sleeping bag, synthetic duvet pillow and fits my Coleman propane tank, one burner stove. light or small and clothes for the weekend. One bag had all my stock sized toiletries and again nothing, a full sized toothbrush and toothpaste, bulging bellies, a full sized gold tie, a collapsible solar lantern and a whole handful of small items. In another bag I put a hammock, tree straps, a small rescue blanket tarp (thick single blanket), tent pegs, paracord, a roll of jute twine, a roll of gorilla tether, four bungee cords, a whetstone. at least that's what I remember. Seriously, the side pockets are so huge when I filled them that I couldn't put anything in the main pocket, so I put my sleeping bag inside. I've never done this, always tied it on the outside, but this one has no bottom straps or loops, so just as good. The top loops are perfect for my 8x10 main tarp. (well I buckled her straps to keep them short) Still I like the backpack and everything I put in it BUT the straps weren't right for my chest which hit my neck and waist right at the thickest point lay around my stomach. Fat man, maybe that's why. I was able to modify it to work for me, although the neck collar cut threw it away by carefully clipping the bottom collar right where it met the padding. Use a lighter on the cut ends at the waistband to keep it from unraveling. threaded the bottom of the shoulder straps and now I have a top harness with wide straps that don't dig in anywhere. I left a triangle at the bottom with extra padding because I didn't want to bump and they wouldn't damage anything. The strap modification was an afterthought, I only cut off the straps I couldn't use, but I'm happy with the results.
