Review on 💪 Enhanced Performance with TP-Link N300 High Powered USB Adapter (TL-WN8200ND) by James Nedumaran

Worked well for 9 months, with more and more frequent disconnections/lags. Now, almost a year after my purchase, it almost doesn't work anymore. I'm surprised I was able to write this review at all. The device keeps disconnecting from the network (no other devices do this, even if they are much further away than this device). I have less than 50 meters. away from my access point. The LED always either goes out completely or starts to flash slowly and rhythmically. The connection will not be reestablished without disconnecting/reconnecting several times. When this works, my ping in online games often jumps from the usual 25ms to over 1000ms. Downloading the driver from the TP-LINK website and reinstalling it did nothing. I am a competitive gamer who unfortunately can only use WiFi. I have a tournament tomorrow that I can't join due to this issue. This device was a big disappointment. Please do not buy. EDIT 4/26/2015: About two months ago, TP-LINK sent me a replacement for free. Since I received the replacement I haven't had any more problems. I very rarely switch off. Wireless networks are not going away. The ping remains very low. I must have gotten lucky because this new one was great! Rating changed from 1 star to 4 stars. Would have been 5 if I hadn't struggled from the start.
