Ideal for precise stitching. Please make sure it is compatible with your machine before ordering. Your machine should have a screw hole on the right side of the needle plate. As you can see from my pictures, this works with my Innovis NQ900PRW but not with my CS-6000i. (I knew this before ordering.) It's adjustable, so you can set it to a variety of widths, not just the ones marked. (1", 1/8", etc.) Just measure with a needle and put in place. It's also great for getting an even top stitch. (See my photos again.) My manual has a white thumbscrew, not the orange one in the photo, but it came in standard Brother packaging with typical multilingual instructions.
