Review on Spacious REAHOME 8 Drawer Dresser with Shelves: Steel Frame, Wooden Top, and Bonus Organizers for Ultimate Bedroom and Closet Storage (Black Grey) by Jennifer Vargas

Revainrating 4 out of 5

Rustic fabric box made of imitation wood. Light Boxes.

Please note that the drawers on this foldable fabric drawer are something like a fabric cube that you would use to store toys in a closet. They have shiny black handles, which I believe are wood (not sure). The frame consists of black lacquered metal rods, while the top three parts are made of solid material with imitation wood covering. I was blown away by the fabric drawer boxes. I wasn't expecting it to be a drawer system made mostly of fabric (kinda cheap). I have a similar food dresser but the drawer design was with real wood veneer on the front of the fabric drawers so I guess that's why I just assumed these fabric drawers might have a faux wood panel on the front but actually it's just one print on the fabric. At the same time, from a distance it almost looks like real rustic wood. The materials and the look are growing on me. It's also somewhat practical. Although the box was heavy, I was able to slowly drag it in, climb the stairs, assemble and move it myself (adult female) without help. I also like children's fabric drawers as they are lightweight and slide in and out easily, unlike some of the old dressers we had with cramped or wobbly drawers that are a bit more difficult for a child to use. I booked this for the kids room they share so I didn't have much space to store clothes with a shared closet. I like the slim design so it fits easily in the somewhat flat wall space behind a folding closet door and doesn't impede walk-through or closet function. It took maybe an hour to assemble, but I slowed it down a bit and even got the kids to put handles on the drawers so they could say they helped build it. tighten and a few pointed screws. Even with the screws, which I used the little flat tools that came with them, I went back to them and ended up tightening them all with an electric drill after making sure everything was in the right place and installed correctly. A few pieces of metal at the end of the back of the drawers where there is a metal bar to stop the drawer were bent diagonally and I had to manually bend them back into shape. pre-drilled holes in metal rods. On one or two occasions I actually had to take a screwdriver and pry the dangling piece of flour out of the pole so I could poke a screw through the hole when trying. Fortunately, no part or piece was damaged to the point of being unusable. My kids love the end result. It's functional and they love that there is now a little ledge upstairs to decorate and put some photos and Christmas stuff in their room. Overall I would recommend them.
