The straps are very tight so I couldn't wear the shoes comfortably. They won't stay if I cut the straps. Also, they look like slippers, which cannot be seen in the photo due to the material. They looked so much like indoor shoes that I felt uncomfortable wearing them outside the house. I bought them for a trip where I needed to wear something other than walking shoes to a nice restaurant, but they were totally unsuitable for that. I gave them three stars because despite the tightness and unsightly material they are cheap and suitable for those who want slippers or shoes on a real ballet gym floor, but they don't serve any other purpose like most "ballerina flats".
