I've used tips the size of my index finger my entire life. And while I didn't have a problem with it, I found that I had to make extra effort to move vertically so I could cover all of my teeth. However, it's just the perfect size. The brush is about the size of your thumb and has medium-soft bristles that won't hurt your gums or tongue. Now I've found that I don't have to move much vertically to cover all my teeth. The handles are great too, they're made of rubber so they don't slip out of your hand when brushing your teeth, even if they're wet. Overall I am very satisfied they are well made, I will definitely buy them again.
