This chair is light, and does not have have that clear lock back into place feeling/sound that heavier duty recliners do. The reason for the title, and that the chair isn't pictured, is that I went to bed one night after watching TV in the chair for a few hours and woke up the next morning to find the chair opened, knocked over, and my orange tabby, Willis, passed away under the back.Whatever sequence of events created that result I expect is extremely rare, but I don't believe whatever happened could have happened with a more traditional heavier recliner (but still be careful about putting down your foot rest, and the rocker style chairs are just asking for trouble).Previous to that, I had been happy with the chair. It was simple and small, but that worked fine for me. I hadn't had it long when this happened, and threw it in a neighbors dump pile the same day, so I can't speak to how well it lasts.If you don't have pets or kids this might still be a good idea, it's in-your-20's starter furniture for sure, but it was good for what it was. It's been over a year and I still want to post a zero star and yell at someone that this chair killed my beloved boy . But I acknowledge I have bad luck and there must have been a real unfortunate confluence of events to end up where we did, so, at least get my message out, and split the difference I guess?RIP Willis, 7/3/2021.
