Review on Air Lift 88257 LoadLifter Ultimate by Avishai Menon

Revainrating 5 out of 5

Working on a 2004 Dodge Ram 1500 and already tested! A good product!

Finally got a chance to install this on my 04 Dodge Ram 1500 RWD. Installation is relatively easy considering I don't have a car lift, just a hydraulic jack with legs. I ended up using 4x4 pieces of wood cut into 3 foot lengths to raise the frame and adjust the clearance between the body and axle. I also wrapped the ends of the rotary valve with teflon tape for a better seal. Followed the assembly and installation guide, pretty easy. The hardest part was figuring out where to mount the Schrader valves, which I ended up not doing, just securing them under the truck and dodging and dodging near the front of the body. Easy to reach and inflate with a portable compressor that I carry under my seat. I'm planning to install an onboard compressor in the near future, so I've decided not to install any valves yet. Inflated the airbags to 35psi and held pressure all night with no problems. Oh one thing I did was test the airbags on my workbench BEFORE installing them to make sure the flaps on top of the airbags were secured, a simple test of just 20psi each. All in all a pretty easy install, the hardest part was lifting the frame to get the clearance but be aware that the airbags are compressed so you can install the airbags even if you don't have the required one have distance. You need room to align the top and bottom properly, but I imagine that with enough skill you could still do this and adjust the alignment without that space. Love it, I ended up carrying 20 bags of gravel on my back, each bag weighed 60lbs and I pumped them up to 40psi, held great and leveled my truck.

  • Dope 🔥
Cons
